YAWP! is Bethel College’s literary magazine, published biannually and featuring the best of literary and artistic production from students, faculty, staff and alumni. We publish poetry, short fiction, graphic art, photography, and experimentation in new genres. Our fall issue will appear online, with the spring publication appearing in both print and online format.

YAWP! is supported by the English Department at Bethel College, a private liberal arts college located in North Newton, Kansas. 

BC Lines was Bethel College’s literary journal published in print format until 2005 when it was discontinued due to budgetary concerns. BC Lines continued as an online blog until now. YAWP! is the rebirth and re-visioning of the college’s literary magazine. We launched our first issue in December, 2014.
